Aurora design studio helped us hugely with the development of our Website. All issues that you would expect from a business start up however small or large, were dealt with by Tim and his team with great professionalism and speed. Every step of the way we were well helped and supported by Aurora Design Studio. Highly recommend them.Reynolds Architecture wanted a clean, understated website that would let their work speak for itself. Their previous website was difficult to maintain, and adding new projects was unnecessarily complicated. We set out to create something that was as straightforward to manage as it was elegant to look at.
Less is more
But not necessarily easier...
Inspired by the principles of Swiss design, we developed a deliberately minimal layout that places architectural photography at the heart of the experience.
Achieving that simplicity requires careful attention to typography, spacing and interaction. We stripped away unnecessary decoration and kept supporting interface elements discreet, revealing controls on hover where appropriate to preserve the clean, uncluttered presentation.
Making the complicated simple
Behind the scenes, we developed a bespoke project management system designed around the client's needs.
Adding a new project is remarkably straightforward. Enter a few basic details, upload photographs to a designated folder and the website takes care of displaying everything. Project listings and image galleries are generated automatically, without the need to build individual pages or manage complicated layouts.
The result is a website that combines a restrained, elegant appearance with a flexible content management system that's genuinely easy to use. Minimal on the surface, with plenty of thoughtful development underneath.

Jason and Tim's inventive approach turned what was originally a "website for the sake of a website" into a central feature in the day-to-day running of our company. It is now a key marketing tool, information resource and e-commerce portal. Our online presence and overall image have been enhanced considerably. They are innovative and reliable designers and the resulting product does not disappoint.Duncan Macleod, SWL International
